My deepest condolences to the Rodgers family! All though I didn’t know Mr Rodgers personally, when I saw his name on the sign out front a big lump came into my throat. It brought back the only memory I have of Mr Rodgers, i won’t go into detail but I helped him Capture to young runaways years ago while he was working for Cobb Co Police. That night he gave me his business card and told me while patting me on the shoulder, “Son if you ever need anything! Just call me. You won’t forget my name, it’s Roy Rodgers like the singer.” Then he drove away and I never saw him again. I carried that business card in my wallet for the next 10 years or so always feeling like I had a friend out there somewhere I could call on if I needed him.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Rodgers family today! GOD SPEED AND GOD BLESS YOU MR. RODGERS!
